Steve Barnes | President
Steve is a graduate of the University Of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Radio, Television, and Film. He embraces all aspects of creating and producing, and has worked on both sides of the camera since 1991. Always submerged in the latest in technology, he has been one of the trailblazers in the social media landscape and continues to excel at bringing creative content together with viral marketing and novel ideas resulting in success for advertisers. Steve has served as Executive Producer and Producer on 4 films and 2 TV Series: The hit series HIGH RISE and Tennis TV for FOX Sports. In addition, He has 25 years of major market radio experience with a strong background in marketing and promotion for many top brands including AirTran Airways, Apple, BMW and many more. Alan Smith | Director of Audio Production
Alan has recorded and mixed for some of the world’s biggest recording artists, such as James Blunt, Beck, Matchbox 20, No Doubt, and Moby. Alan is a sound recording veteran and stays submerged and informed on the lastest technological advances. Alan has also done national commercial production for clients including Panasonic and BMW. In addition, he has been a voice and production talent for radio stations in Austin, Orlando, Kansas City, Dallas, and Atlanta. James Schroeder | Director of TV/Film Production
James worked with Turner Classic Movies, TNT, TBS, Turner South, and B.E.T. before joining Barnes Creative Studios. With a strong post production background and education, James continually innovates and pushes the envelope of digital technology. Certified on Avid and Apple’s Final Cut Pro systems, James has mastered the art of video production and manipulation. He has cut theatrical trailers for commercial movie releases and has also written, directed, and produced a pilot for Turner Studios.

Steve brings diverse experience to Barnes Creative Studios from the entertainment, sports, and financial industries. For over 20 years, he has supported the goals of his customers by developing and implementing successful marketing communications strategies. Steve is a relationship builder and a trusted counselor who strives to exceed customer expectations everyday. Steve’s resume includes marketing for 2 world champion Major League Baseball Teams, The Atlanta Braves and The Florida Marlins.

Stephen Buckner | Director of Casting and New Business Development
Stephen is a graduate of The University of Georgia with an undergraduate degree in journalism and a master’s degree in English. An early theater background was where Stephen realized he had a knack for discovering talent. Since then, he has been the casting director for feature films and television series’ with great success. Stephen is also a social media expert who has helped create successful new media campaigns for Fortune 500 companies.
